WORSBROUGH RESERVOIR

After a long period of being closed for bank refurbishment the reservoir is now back open again having recently been restocked with both carp and silvers.

The famous Worsbrough Reservoir has been a breeding ground to some of England’s best ever anglers and is home to the formidable Barnsley Blacks Angling Team. With a continuous stock of Carp and healthy stocks of many other species, you can enjoy the full spectrum of fishing on offer. Your Barnsley permit entitles you to fish during the day, not after sunset. Should you wish to fish for carp after dark there are a limited number of tickets available to do so, you’ll need to contact the bailiff, Mark Trimnell on 07763 967261, who will advise you on how to obtain a night fishing permit.
